Harold "Bud" Bagby Willis, Jr., age 87, passed away on Friday, July 15, 2016 at his residence. Born in Lexington, NC on January 19, 1929, he was the son of the late Harold Bagby Willis, Sr. and the late Connie Mae Kirkman Willis. He retired from Peachtree Fabrics in Atlanta, GA after 24 years. He also was a Master Mason for 60 years and was an avid golfer. He was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his loving wife, Peggy Langley Medlock Willis; three sons, Michael Willis (Janey) of Atlanta, GA, Richard Willis of NC and Brandon Langley (Sheila) of Greenwood, SC; a daughter, Sherrie Mooney (Larry) of Gainesville, GA; two sisters, Barbara Beck of Lexington, NC and Connie Steed of Raleigh, NC; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. A family Memorial Service will be held later.
