Harrison O'Dell Williams age 88, of 110 Simpson Street, husband of the late Bernice Davis Williams, died Monday, February 08, 2010, at AnMed Health Medical Center.He was born in Lincoln County, GA, and was a son of the late Robert Clayton Williams and Delia Victoria Williams. He was a World War II US Army Veteran and retired from the SC State Highway Department as a mechanic for over 40 years. Mr. Williams was a member of Iva Pentecostal Holiness Church. He is survived by his daughter Connie W. Mitchell, Raleigh, NC; two sons, David Williams and his wife Sandra, Easley and Harrison Williams, Jr. and his wife, Laura, Durham, NC; brother, Hoyt Williams, Starr; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.A graveside service will be held Thursday, February 11, 2010, at 11:00 AM, at Iva City Cemetery with Reverend Billy Pinson officiating.The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 10, 2010, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Iva Pentecostal Holiness Church, 205 Antreville Highway, Iva, SC 29655.A message of condolence may be sent to the family by visitingwww.mcdougaldfuneralhome.com.The McDougald Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
