Harvey Elisha Brock Anderson, SC Harvey Elisha Brock, age 90, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Monday, June 30, 2014 at NHC in Anderson. Born in Anderson, SC, he was the son of the late William Fletcher Brock and the late Nan Brock. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II. He was an avid golfer and was employed at Boscobel Country Club as a Golf Pro. He is survived by his daughters, Annette Powell and her husband Ken, of Williamston, SC, and Janice Vermillion, of Starr, SC; son, Gary Brock and his wife Janet, of Calhoun, GA three step-daughters, Judy, Dianna and Kim; 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Faye Nation Brock; three sisters and four brothers. The Graveside service will be held at M.J. Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Ray Pruitt officiating. The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. At other times, Mr. Brock's family will be at the home of Annette and Ken Powell: 349 Pine Trail, Williamston, SC.
