Duncan, age 86, of 266 Breazeale Drive, passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2011, at the AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Anderson County, SC, Mr. Duncan was the son of the late Harvey B. Duncan, Sr. and Mamie Duncan. He was a carpenter by trade, and built many a house in the Anderson area. He enjoyed his work and his family, and liked to tell everyone about both.He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Elise Griffin Duncan; two sons, Randy R. Duncan of Pelzer, and Ricky H. Duncan of Williamston; four daughters, Diane Rogers (Larry) of Williamston, Debbie Grant (Ricky) of West Pelzer, Pamela Garner (Bruce) of Anderson, and Jennifer Pitts (Jason) of Anderson. H.B. was also survived by nine grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mr. Duncan was predeceased by four brothers and three sisters.The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2011, at 4 PM at the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Ellison and Dr. Ron Fousek officiating. Interment will follow in New Silver Brook Cemetery.The family will be at the home of his daughter, Diane Rogers, 105 Branchview Drive, Williamston, SC, and will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 1, 2011, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
