Harvey Covington Watson, Jr., 64, of Townville, SC, passed away, Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born February 24, 1956, in Raleigh, NC, he was the son of Carol Emory Watson Golden and the late Harvey C. Watson, Sr. Harvey was a veteran of the United States Air Force and spent his career in construction. He was a volunteer with the Outdoor Dream Foundation and enjoyed working with all of the kids. He was a fishing guide on Lake Hartwell, a licensed sea captain and was known affectionately as Captain Kip. He is survived by his loving wife, Donnah Rowland Watson of the home; daughter, Heather Kay Watson Bailey (Joshua) of Townville, SC; grandchildren, Jackson Bailey and Lilyahna Bailey; two brothers and three sisters. Kip will also be missed by his beloved capuchin, Kaylee. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by two sisters. The family will have a memorial service at a later date.
