HACK MC CLELLAN April 23, 1928 - January 5, 2009ANDERSON, SCMr. Haskell 'Hack' James McClellan, age 80, husband of Clara Davis McClellan of 2218 Whitehall Road, passed away on Monday, January 5, 2009 at the Rainey Hospice House.Born in Anderson, SC on April 23, 1928, Mr. McClellan was a son of the late Harvey McClellan and Della Keasler McClellan. He retired from Anderson School District Five in maintenance and was a member of Ruff Masonic Lodge. He was also a member of New Prospect Baptist Church.Survivors include his wife, Clara Davis McClellan of the home; daughter, Brenda M. York and her husband, William of Starr; brothers, Willie McClellan of Belton and Joe McClellan of Anderson; sisters, Janie Ruth hanks, Eunice Robinson and Ann Manley, all of Anderson; two grandchildren, Allen York and Brian York and his wife, Sarah, of Starr and three great-grandchildren, Jesse, Emilee and Lane York.In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by three brothers and two sisters. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at 2:00 pm at New Prospect Baptist Church officiated by Dr. Tony Smith.
