Hassie L. Miller December 20, 1915 - May 23, 2007Anderson, SC Hassie L. Miller, 91, passed away on Wednesday, May 23, 2007 at the Hospice House in Anderson. Born December 20, 1915 in Anderson, SC, where she grew up and lived most of her life, Hassie graduated with honors from Anderson College. She married Paul Miller on August 30, 1939. Most of her working life was spent in the offices of Dr. Joel Wyman and later in the Anderson Dermatology Clinic. Hassie was an active member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday school and was a lifetime member of the Lutheran Church Women. She will always be remembered as a wonderful and caring wife, mom and grandmother. Surviving are her sons, David Miller and wife Jane, of Norcross, GA; John Miller and wife Brenda, of Peachtree City, GA; grandsons, Matthew Miller, of Van Nuys, CA; and Tobias Miller and wife Larissa and great grandsons Cody and Wyatt of Dillsboro, NC.In addition to her husband and parents, Hassie was preceded in death by her two brothers Victor and Curtis and her sister Ellen.Visitation will be at The McDougald Funeral Home on Friday, May 25, 2007 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. A graveside service will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park at 2:30 pm. Rev. Dr. Paul R.
