ALLEN April 1, 1917 - January 25, 2007ANDERSON, SCMrs. Hattie Whitlock Allen, age 89, of 2832 South Main Street, Anderson, wife of the late C. Eugene Allen, passed away Thursday, January 25, 2007 at Brookside Living Center in Anderson.Born in Pendleton, SC on April 1, 1917, Mrs. Allen was a daughter of the late Stark H. Whitlock and Hannah Calvert Whitlock. She was retired from West Point Pepperell and was of the Presbyterian Faith.Survivors include a daughter, Gail A. Tucker and her husband, Jerry W. Tucker of Iva, SC; sister, Ruth Atkins of Pendleton, SC; two grandsons, Wayne Tucker and his wife, Amy and Allen Tucker and his wife, Kelly and five great-grandchildren.In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2007 at 2:00 pm at New Silverbrook Cemetery in Anderson, officiated by the Reverend Larry Cox.The family will receive friends thirty minutes before and after the graveside service.The family will be at the home of her daughter, Gail A. Tucker, 1631 Antreville Highway, Iva, SC.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Iva Rescue Squad, P.O.
