Bannister Road, Belton, husband of Brenda Lee Roberts Vaughn, died Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at Rainey Hospice House in Anderson. Born in Anderson on June 23, 1945, he was a son of the late William Allen Vaughn and Gladys Louise Watt Vaughn. Mr. Vaughn was a United States Army Veteran and was a retired construction worker. He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to his wife, Brenda Lee Roberts Vaughn, are three sons, Carey Wayne Vaughn of Anderson, William Talmage 'Bill' Vaughn and his wife Crystal of Starr, and Jerry Ray Vaughn of Belton; two daughters, Ginger Black and Tina Conover, both of Nevada; three grandchildren, Gracie and Chloe Vaughn and Jace Rick; brothers, Charles and Jerry Vaughn, both of Anderson; sisters, Sybil V. Philyaw of Belton, Margie U. Pritchett of Marietta, and Faye Wilkie of McCormick. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Tommy Ray Vaughn and a sister, Ruby V. Mitchell. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date at Bethany Baptist Church. The family will be at the home.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cancer Association of Anderson, 215 E.
