HAZEL 'BANKY' BALLARD May 15, 1932 - April 6, 2006ANDERSON, SCMrs. Hazel Vanarette Cooper Ballard, 73 of 124 Bertha Drive, wife of the late Fredrick John Wayne Ballard, died Thursday, April 6, 2006 at the AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson.Born in Greenwood, SC on May 15, 1932, Mrs. Ballard was a daughter of the late Roy Wesley Cooper and Melba Clarice Timms Cooper. She was a graduate of Girls High School and retired from Robert Bosch Corporation. She was of the Baptist Faith.Survivors include a son, Keith Lee Ballard and his wife, Jennifer Fields of Anderson; daughter, Tammy Ballard King and her husband, Michael Ray King of Anderson; a brother, Walter Cooper of Abbeville; sisters, Durean Dyar of Easley and Virginia Chambers of Starr; three grandchildren, Christopher Michael Ballard, Leigh Mullens and Michael Jared King and three great-grandchildren.The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, April 9, 2006 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home by the Rev. Michael King.
