Hazel Fields Boggs, age 96, of Anderson, SC, loving wife to the late James F. Boggs, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at North Pointe Assisted Living. Born April 15, 1926, in Laurens County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Glen L. Fields and Pearl Annie Magaha Fields. She loved people and her church Eureka Baptist where she was a proud lifelong member. She is survived by many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Trudie F. Hawkins; and nephew, Danny Lee Hawkins. The family will receive friends Monday, November 28, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow visitation in the Chapel at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Steve Foss officiating. Burial will take place at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will be at their respective homes. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the North Pointe staff for their kindness and unceasing love provided to Hazel.
