Hardy Crook, age 81, of 515 Azalea Drive, Anderson, SC, died Monday, January 08, 2007 at her residence.Born in Anderson, SC on July 8, 1925, Mrs. Crook was a daughter of the late Clarence Thomason and Florence Smith Thomason. She was retired from Glen Raven Mills and was a member of Landmark Freewill Baptist Church. She was a loving mother and homemaker.Survivors include a son, Jay 'Sonny' Hardy and his wife, Lynne of Anderson, SC; daughters, Barbara Smith and her husband, Glenn, and Janice Greer Case and her husband, Earnest, all of Anderson; a brother, Reverend Glenn H. Thomason of Anderson, SC; a sister, Madge Thomason of Pendleton, SC; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Harold L. Hardy, Carl H. Greer and Kyle Joe Crook; a brother, Edward 'Whitie' Thomason and a sister, Gladys Gibson.The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2007 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverends Glenn H. Thomason and Danny Keen. Interment will follow in Old Silverbrook Cemetery, Anderson.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 10, 2007 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.The family will be at the home of her son, 315 Maria Drive, Anderson, SC.Flowers are optional.
