ALEEN ESTES August 7, 1931 - May 15, 2007ANDERSON, SCMrs. Hazel Aleen Hedden Estes, age 75 wife of Willie Lyman Estes of 702 Woodvale Road, Anderson, SC, died Tuesday, May 15, 2007 at her residence.Born in Anderson, SC on August 7, 1931, Mrs. Estes was a daughter of Wilma Nicholson Hedden of Anderson and the late Gus Roosevelt Hedden. She was a former employee of the Singer Company with 25 years of service. She was a member of the River of Life Church of God, formerly, the McDuffie Street Church of God.Survivors include her husband, Willie Lyman Estes of the home; daughters, Sheila E. Ginn of Anderson, SC, Melita E. Whitfield of Lyman, SC, Teresa A. Pfeffer, USAF Ret. Burkburnett, TX; mother, Wilma Nicholson Hedden of Anderson; brothers, Vernon Hedden of Orlando, FL, Aubrey Manuel Hedden of Anderson, SC; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a sister, Janet Caroline Chambers and a grandson, Deputy Marcus Whitfield. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 18, 2007 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with the Reverends Bruce Chambers and Steve Chambers officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Anderson.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, May 17, 2007 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.The family will be at the residence.
