Hazel King Fleming, age 85, of Anderson, SC, passed away Tuesday, November 9, 2021, at Rainey Hospice House. Born February 13, 1936, in Oconee County, she was the daughter of the late Memphis T. King and Sylvia Nix King. She was married for 56 years to John Henry Fleming until his death in July 2011. Hazel was a graduate of McDuffie High School and formerly worked for the Department of Social Services as a homemaker. She was a member of Orrville Baptist Church. She is survived by her children, Kathy Skinner (Joe), Robert Fleming (Lynn), and Tina Davis (Tony); brothers, Woodrow King (Louise) and Jimmy King (Kathy); sisters, JoAnn King and Becky Blackwell; grandchildren, Chris Yates, Kris Maples (Gwen), Cole Fleming (Sarah), Lauren Sanders (Trace), Austin Kinley (Mae), Candice Davis, Garrett Davis (Kasey), Tiffany Davis (Andre), and Braelyn Davis; and 15 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 5 brothers and 4 sisters. The family will receive friends Sunday, November 14, 2021, from 1:00-2:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the Chapel at 2:30 pm with Rev. C.W. Hicks and Rev. Leland Bonds officiating. Burial will follow at New Silver Brook Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted. The family will be at the home of her daughter, Tina Davis 112 Northgate Dr. Anderson, SC.
