HAZEL GOLDSMITH July 21, 1927 -October 27, 2005 ANDERSON, SCMrs. Hazel Lee Goldsmith, age 78, wife of Roy Goldsmith of 324 Cherry Drive, Anderson, SC, died Thursday, October 27, 2005 at the AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson, SC.Born in Hart County, GA, Mrs. Goldsmith was a daughter of the late Joe Allen and Lula Mae Purdy Allen. She was retired from textiles and was a member of the Bible Baptist Church in Anderson.Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Roy Goldsmith of the home; sons, Larry Goldsmith and Tom Goldsmith, both of Anderson, SC a sister, Barbara Terry of Seneca, SC; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Gary Goldsmith.Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2005 at 3:00 pm at Bible Baptist Church by the Reverend Ken Whitt. Interment will follow in New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery.The family will receive friends at Bible Baptist Church on Saturday, from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm.
