Hazel Grace Mumblow, 86 of Anderson, passed away on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at Rainey Hospice House. Born April 9, 1932 in Walhalla, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Dennard and Sarah Lennie Waters Turpin. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Mumblow; sisters, Ginny T. Steiffer and Olene T. Crane. She retired from Homeland Park Elementary School and was a member of Orrville Baptist Church. She is survived by her son, Richard (Nancy) Burnette; daughters, Jo Ann Nash and Patricia Leslie; brother, Fred (Bobbie) Turpin; brother-in-law, Bob (Sheree) Mumblow; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 1:30-2:30 pm on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the chapel at 3:00 pm with Dr. Wendell Bannister officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will be at the home.
