Helen Louise Martin Arflin, of Anderson, SC, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2024, at AnMed Medical Center. She was the widow of Wilbur Lee Arflin and a daughter of the late Robert "Bud" J. Martin and the late Aurie Nelson Martin. Saturday, June 29, 2024, was her 97th birthday. She would declare this the best birthday of her life, as she met her Savior face-to-face and reunited with her husband, Wilbur, her son Billy, and all the family that had gone before.

Mrs. Arflin retired from Orr Mill as a supervisor for the cloth room. She appreciated all in life, but nothing more than family. Her favorite gifts were family pictures. She loved flowers and when she was able, she had beautiful flowers in her yard, year-round. Mrs. Arflin was a long-time member of Eureka Baptist Church. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends and will always be remembered for her unconditional love.

She is survived by a son, Bobby Arflin (Sheila); daughter-in-law, Helen Crowe Arflin; grandsons, Brandon Arflin and Blake Arflin (Laura); and two great grandsons, Bryson Arflin and Peyton Arflin.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a son, Billy Gene Arflin; four sisters; and 3 brothers.

The family will greet family and friends on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, from 10:00 am – 10:45 am at Eureka Baptist Church. The service will follow at the church at 11:00 am officiated by Reverend Michael Joe Harvell. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to Eureka Baptist Church.
