OBITUARYHELEN AYERSNovember 1, 1929 - June 23, 2007ANDERSON, SCHelen Bond Ayers, age 77, of Anderson, wife of the late Lester Rendell Ayers, died Saturday, June 23, 2007 at Hospice of the Upstate, Anderson.Born in Elbert County, GA on November 1, 1929, Mrs. Ayers was a daughter of the late Claude Bond and Mary Rousey Bond. She is survived by her daughters, Ren Smith of Anderson, Delise Stone of Pelzer, and Elaine Stokes of Anderson; seven grandchildren, Crissy, Nicholas, Brandi, Angela, Nancy, Leslie, and Jonathan and seven great-grandchildren.In addition to her husband and her parents she was predeceased by her brothers, James and Don Bond.A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, June 25, 2007 at 11:00 am at Elmherst Cemetery, Elberton, GA officiated by the Reverend Dr. Ron Fousek.The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 24, 2007 from 6:30 pm until 8:30 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home.The family will be at their respective homes.Flowers are optional.
