Helen Louise Bray, age 87, of Anderson, SC, passed away Friday, November 24, 2023, in Woodruff, SC.

Born October 27, 1936, in Steelton, PA, she was a daughter of the late Henry Schmidt and Stella Coffman of Steelton, PA. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie R. Bray; two brothers, Henry and Robert Schmidt; and two sisters, Ruth Beistline and Catherine Myers.

Helen worked as a bookkeeper for many years. She was a member of the Anderson By Choice Newcomers Club (ABC) and enjoyed playing cards, especially Bunko. She was a fan of college football and cheered on her favorite teams, Clemson and Penn State. Helen loved traveling all over the world with her husband, Jimmie. She loved her cats and time with family and friends, especially her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by a son, Keith Bray (Adriana) of Spartanburg, SC, Kevin Bray of Lexington, SC; a sister, Elsie of Middletown, PA; grandchildren, Neal Bray (Ashley), Nathan Bray (Erica); great-grandchildren, Riggs Bray, Palmer Louise Bray, Nathan Bray, and Charlotte Bray.

There will be no services held for Mrs. Bray.
