Attention: Obituary MRS. HELEN C. DOBBINS ANDERSON ' Helen Crossland Dobbins died on Friday, July 13, 2007 at the AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson, SC. Mrs. Dobbins was born on July 16th in Anderson, SC and was the oldest daughter of the late James Robert Crossland and Violet Haulbrooks Crossland. As a native of Anderson, Helen graduated from Girls' High School and attended Anderson College. She and her late husband, Holbert Gray 'Pete' Dobbins, resided on Westview Avenue in Anderson. Mrs. Dobbins was a retired office manager and member of Central Presbyterian Church. Survivors include her sister, Janie Crossland Mullikin of Anderson, SC; one niece, Carolyn Mullikin Crossland of Kinston, NC; and two nephews, Larry Michael Mullikin & Hassie Lynn Mullikin, both of Anderson, SC. The Funeral Service will be held at 3:00pm on Monday, July 16, 2007 in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with the Reverend Dr. Martin L. Harkey, Jr. and the Reverend Joshua Jennings officiating. Interment will follow in New Silverbrook Cemetery in Anderson, SC. The family will receive friends from 2:00pm until 3:00pm on Monday, July 16, 2007 at The McDougald Funeral Home. Flowers will be accepted.
