Helen Elizabeth Ivester, age 88, of Easley, SC, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2022. Born in Turnerville, GA, Helen was the daughter of the late Winford Clarence Dover and Lora Bell Purdy. She is survived by her three children, Kathryn J. Hill and her husband Donald R. Hill, Jr. of Aurora, CO, Karen I. Henley and her husband, Aubrey L. Henley, Sr. of Mechanicsville, VA, and Roger D. Ivester and his wife, Angela Ivester of Forsythe, GA; two sisters, Marion Tyler Moss, and Sylvia Owens and her husband Alfred Owen of Anderson, SC; five grandchildren, Diana M. Christopher, Donald R. Hill III, Mary K. Frooman, Aubrey M. Cross, and Elizabeth A. O'Daire; and five great-grandchildren, Donald R. Hill IV, Hanna M. Oughton, Charles W. Frooman, Henry E. Frooman, and Aluriel D. Cross. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her ex-husband, Henry E. Ivester of Cornelia, GA. Funeral services will be private.
