OBITUARYHelen K. Lowe, 90, of 205 Nelson Drive, Anderson, SC, widow of Wayne C. Lowe, passed away, Monday, December 15, 2008 at NHC Healthcare in Anderson, SC.Born November 30, 1918 in Donalds, SC, she was a daughter of the late Cliff and Ida Mae Williamson. She was retired from Wamsutta Mills and was a member of Forest Hill Baptist Church. She is survived by her son, Kenneth W. Lowe and his wife Linda, five grandchildren; Chuck Lowe, Jason Lowe, Kristi L. Campbell, Heather Nix and Ansley Carey, eight great-grandchildren, all of Anderson, and two sisters; Elizabeth Montgomery and Frances Roberts of Greenville. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Cheryl Ann Haguewood, three sisters; Edna Harper, Louise Dickerson and Inez McCurry, and two brothers; Hartwell Williamson and Marvin Williamson. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17, 2008 from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 pm in The McDougald Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bob Marcaurelle officiating. Burial will follow in New Silver Brook Cemetery. The family will be at their respective residences.
