HELEN DUNN WHITFIELDAugust 11, 1929 - February 25, 2012Helen A. Whitfield, age 82, of Anderson, passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at her residence. Born in Anderson, she was the daughter of the late Cullen D. Dunn and Mary Ann Phillips Dunn and was married to the late Charlie Whitfield. She was a graduate of Girls High School, Class of 1946, in Anderson, was an avid golfer and loved R.V. travel. She was a member of the Stone Creek Cove Ladies Golf League and was a former Girls Scout Troop Leader.Survivors include a daughter, Vicki W. Littlefield of Anderson, SC; sisters, Sandy Dunn Beck of Danville, VA and Anne Dunn Cooper of Summerton, SC; also surviving are grandchildren, Chris Littlefield, Jeffrey Littlefield and his wife, Sherri; great-grandchildren Josie, Sara, Ben, and Savannah Littlefield; her step-mother, Betty Dunn; and niece and nephews, Kristi Cain, Scott Beck, Brynne Sanders, and Drew Cooper; and step-mother, Betty Dunn. A Graveside Service will be held Monday at 11:00 AM at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Rev. Joe Beck officiating. The family will receive friends, Sunday, February 26, 2012 from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM at The McDougald Funeral Home. Flowers are optional.
