Helen McKinney Williams, age 94, went home to be with Jesus on Thursday, April 28, 2016. She had spent the last five years under the great care of the personnel of GHS Lila Doyle in Seneca, SC. Born in the Saylors Cross Roads Community of Anderson County on November 8th, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Willis Arthur McKinney and the late Madge McClellan McKinney. Helen was a graduate of the Anderson Memorial Hospital School of Nursing and retired from the Anderson County Department of Health after 25 years, as Clinic Nurse for Immunizations. She was a member of Zion United Methodist Church. She is survived by her son, J. David Williams and his wife Debbie T.; and her granddaughter, Meghan. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, James M. Williams; and a sister, Carrie Lee. A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, May 2, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Bethel Baptist Church, Hwy 185, with Dr. Shawn Armstrong officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
