Helena Jane Norris Osborne, age 85, of Edgewater, FL, formerly of Anderson, SC, passed away Monday, January 31, 2022, at Halifax Health Hospice in Edgewater. Born January 29, 1937, in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late Albert James Norris and Jessie Ruth Jenkins Norris. She was the widow of R.M. Osborne. Helena formerly worked in the Anderson School district and was a member of Solid Rock Holiness Church. She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Brooks (Harry) of Edgewater, FL; sister, Alafair Holcombe of Anderson, SC; 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Janet Gibbs; brothers, Willie and Samuel Norris; and sister, Nancy Canupp. The family will receive friends Thursday, February 10, 2022, from 5:00-7:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Friday, February 11, 2022, at 11:00 am in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Rev. Ray Butler officiating. Burial will follow at New Silver Brook Cemetery.
