Anderson, SC Mr. Henry Thedford Bennett, Sr., 95, of Anderson, SC died on August 2, 2015, at Richard Campbell Veterans Nursing Home. He was born to the late Henry Bert and Mary Etta Bennett in Shallotte, NC on March 7, 1920. He was a US Army WWII Veteran and attained the rank of Corporal. He was married to the late Clarice Russ Bennett for 70 years. Mr. Bennett is survived by his son: Henry "Ted" Bennett, Jr. and his wife Mary of Anderson and his daughter: Jennifer Serviss and her husband Jim of Myrtle Beach; one sister: Polly Milligan and her husband Demett of Ashe, NC; three grandchildren: Russ L. Bennett and his wife Anna, Brent J. Bennett and his wife Heather, and Leanah Serviss; and six great grandchildren. In addition to his parents and his spouse he was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters. A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home on August 7th, 2015, at 11:00 am with the Reverends Russ and Brent Bennett officiating.
