Brewster, Jr., age 86, passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at Fellowship Health & Rehab in Anderson.Born in Anderson, SC on September 27, 1925, Henry was a son of the late Henry M. Brewster, Sr. and Alice Hayes Brewster. He attended Boys High and Forrest Junior College. He proudly served in the United States Army during WWII. He was the former owner and operator of Brewster Tire Company and was a member of Homeland Park Baptist Church.He is survived by his two sons, Jim Brewster of Townville, SC and Tommy Brewster and his wife, Carol of Anderson, SC; one sister, Lena Belle Brewster of Anderson, SC; 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Henry was predeceased by his brothers, James and Grady Brewster, and sisters, Annie Black, Leona Bowen, and Lavonia White.The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home at 2:00PM on Friday, November 18, 2011 with Reverend Larry Cox officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, November 17, 2011 from 5:00PM until 7:00PM.Flowers are optional.
