FRANCIS CLARK April 10, 1934 - September 2, 2007ANDERSON, SCMr. Henry Francis Clark, age 73, of 100 Ethelise Circle, Anderson, SC, husband of the late Elaine Padgett Clark, died Sunday, September 2, 2007 at his residence.Born in Winter Seat, SC on April 10, 1934, Mr. Clark was the son of the late Henry Palestine Clark an Ellen Price Clark. He worked for McLees Garage for many years and retired from the City of Anderson Garage. He was a volunteer at the Anderson County Museum and was a member of Varennes Heights Baptist Church. Mr. Clark was raised at Connie Maxwell Children's Home in Greenwood, SC. Survivors include his daughter, Ellen Christensen and her husband, Robert of Anderson: three grandchildren, Audrey C. Speed and her husband, Joey; Ross Allen Christensen and Michaela Paige Christensen and two great-grandchildren, Jackson Christensen and Maddison Speed. He is also survived by his life-long special friend, Inez Burnette of Greenwood, SC. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Sammy Clark and a sister, Marjorie Wilson.The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Kirt Mitchell and Rev. Larry Cox officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 4, 2007 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.The family will be at the home of his daughter, 517 Auburn Avenue, Anderson, SC.Flowers are optional.
