He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the US Army Air Corps. Mr. Kress was a Research Engineer in the automotive industry for many years, having worked for the Ford Motor company for over 16 years. He was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church.He is survived by his wife, a son, H. Daryl Kress (Sandra) of Anderson;1 grandson, Jason Kress (Samarrah); granddaughter-in-law, Karen Kress; and 2 great grandchildren, Ethan and Camilla Kress.Henry was predeceased by a grandson, Garret Kress, 4 brothers, and 5 sisters.A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church Friday, March, 9, 2012, at 11:00 am, with Father Paul Williams OFM.
