He was retired from Wamsutta II Plant and was a member of Oakdale Baptist Church.Survivors include his wife of the home; four daughters, Tammy Maroney, Kathy Corbin, Cindy Miller and her husband Johnny, Kim Taylor and her husband James, all of Townville; 11 grandchildren, Brent Miller and his wife Tristin, Amanda and Austin Miller, Will and Dalton Corbin, Jarrad and Jaeda Maroney, Lee and Karleigh Taylor, Luckie and Jamie Twyne; one great-grandson, Bryson Miller; brother, Johnny Maroney of Townville; sisters, Nancy Maroney of Townville and Edna Sears of Anderson.The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at 2:00pm at Oakdale Baptist Church officiated by the Reverends David Blizzard and David Walters. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6-8 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home.
