TOWNVILLE, SC'Mr. James Henry Pruitt, Sr. age 90, of 3130 Hickory Ridge Drive, Townville, SC died on Friday, December 2, 2005 at his residence.Born in Anderson, SC on December 19, 1914 he was a son of the late Aubrey and Mary Hardin Pruitt. He was a graduate of Anderson Junior College, the University of South Carolina, and the University of Florida. He was a World War II Navy Veteran. He retired from the United States Department of Agriculture and was a member of Dickson Memorial United Methodist Church.In addition to his wife, Margaret Broyles Pruitt of the home, he is survived by a son Joe Pruitt of Savannah, GA; a grandson, Joe Pruitt, Jr. of Houston, TX; and two brothers, Louis and Marion Pruitt both of Anderson, SC.In addition to parents he was preceded in death by a son, James Henry Pruitt, Jr. and a brother, Stanley Pruitt.The family is at the residence.
