HENRY B. SEYMORE September 12, 1920 - December 11, 2012 ANDERSON, SC Henry Beecher Seymore, age 92, of 133 Capeview Lane, passed away on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at his residence. Born in Georgia, he was the son of the late Early Seymore and the late Laura Tucker Seymore. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II in the 62nd Signal Battalion, earning 5 Bronze Stars and several other Medals of Honor. He retired from J.P. Stephens as a supervisor, having worked there for over 40 years. He was a charter member of the Center Rock Fire Department and a member of New Hope Methodist Church. He was known as a good family man and a good neighbor. He is survived by his children, Lynne Seymore, of the home, Mike Seymore and his wife Gwen, of Anderson and Tommy Seymore; a sister, Corrine Murph of Mauldin; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Harris Seymore; a brother, Joe Seymore; three sisters, Lorrine Skelton, Jewell Herring, and Helen Fennell; and a grandson, Ricky Lesley. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 14, 2012 at 2:30 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Reverend Tommy Dickson and Reverend Joyce Murphy officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Military Honors provided by Campbell Patriots Honor Guard. The family will be at the residence and will receive friends on Thursday, December 13, 2012 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
