HENRY "TONY" WEBB December 18, 1929 - June 6, 2012 BELTON, SC Henry Lamar "Tony" Webb, age 82, of 4309 Old Williamston Road, loving husband of Barbara B. Webb, passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at his residence. Born in Hartwell, GA, he was the son of the late Dudley Hampton Webb and the late Bessie King Webb. Mr. Webb was a graduate of Boys High in Anderson. He proudly served his country in the SC National Guard. He worked for the Anderson Post Office for over 32 years and was a steward with the National Letter Carriers Union. Tony was passionate about farming; he was a past president and formerly served on the board of directors for Farm Bureau. He was a Mason at the Williamston Lodge. Mr. Webb was a member of Whitefield Baptist Church. In addition to his wife of 56 years, he is survived by his children, Brett H. Webb of Pendleton, SC, Theresa W. Mangum and her husband John C. Mangum of Williamston, SC, and Commander Richard F. Webb and his wife Christine Webb of Pearl Harbor, HI; seven grandchildren, Vince Webb and his wife Shyanne, Jessica Goldsmith and her husband Jon, Tony Webb, Brittany Pritchard and her husband Matthew, Brandon Webb, Gracie Webb and Clay Mangum; sisters, Marilyn Jones of Anderson, Barbara Bowman of Anderson; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a sister, Frances McClellan. The Funeral service to celebrate Mr. Webb's life will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at 3:00 pm at the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Reverend Bob Clardy officiating. Interment will follow at New Silver Brook Cemetery. The family will be at the residence and will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 1:00pm until 2:30pm on Saturday.
