HERBERT KEATONApril 16, 1920 - January 13, 2007ANDERSON, SCMr. Herbert Parks Keaton, age 86, husband of Mrs. Mary Helen Cochran Keaton of 1824 Airline Road, Anderson, SC, died Saturday, January 13, 2007 at the Richard Michael Campbell Veterans Nursing Home.Born in Anderson County on April 16, 1920, Mr. Keaton was a son of the late Clarence Parks Keaton and Annie Martin Keaton. He retired from the United States Navy and then retired from Owens Corning Fiberglas. He attended Varennes Presbyterian Church.In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Donald Parks Keaton of Boiling Springs, SC and Douglas Warren Keaton and his wife Elizabeth Clinkscales Keaton of Belton, SC; a brother, Martin Keaton of NC and a sister Helen Keaton Wilson of NC. Two grandchildren, Molly Elizabeth Keaton and Amelia Anne Keaton also survive.He was predeceased by his parents, a grandchild at birth, Emily Keaton, and a sister, Edna Keaton Wood.The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 15, 2007 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend Frank Norris.
