Horace Samuel Summey, Jr., age 71, passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Lila Doyle Nursing Center. Born in Anderson, SC on February 7, 1946, he was the son of the late Horace S. Summey, Sr. and the late Lula Crawford Summey. He was a graduate of Boys High School and a member of First Baptist Church of Anderson. He is survived by his sister, Frances Summey Roper and her husband Gerald, of Easley, SC. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.
