Horace Edward Vanadore Anderson, SC Horace Edward Vanadore, age 88, went to be with his Lord and Savior Tuesday, November 18, 2014, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Anderson, SC, he was the son of the late Bill Vanadore and the late Bertha Rumsey Vanadore. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. He was the owner and operator of Vanadore Used Cars on Sunset Drive in Anderson. He is survived by his loving wife, of 67 years, Mary Elizabeth Hall Vanadore; his children, Rick Vanadore and his wife Peggy, of Anderson, SC, Ronnie Vanadore and his wife Denise of Daytona Beach, FL, Gloria Vanadore Walls and her husband Ronnie, of Anderson, SC; and Aletha Vanadore Vickery and her husband Ansel, of Covington, GA; an honorable son, Ricky Snow, of Iva, SC; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Frances Vanadore and Maxine Bohannon. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home on Friday, November 21, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. with Mr. Harry Osborne and Mr. Ronnie Vanadore speaking. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, with military honors. The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Thursday, November 20, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to Campbell Patriots, Honor Guard, American Legion Post 184, P.O.
