Howard L. Rogers, known to family and friends from a young age as “Pat,” age 81, of Clemson, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at Linley Park Post-Acute.

Born April 20, 1945, in Canandaigua, New York, Pat was the ninth of ten children born to the late John and Stella Byers Rogers. He graduated from Pal-Mac High School with the Class of 1965 and went on to become a teacher in Texas. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served during the Vietnam era.

Pat was preceded in death by his brothers, James, Leo, and Joseph Rogers, and his sister, Glady Deagman.

He is survived by his sisters, Emily Jeffery, Irene Smith, Betty Smith, Ina Wallace, and Eunice Isgur, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Pat had many interests throughout his life. He had a particular passion for investing in the stock market and enjoyed following his investments. He also loved traveling and swimming and cherished the experiences and adventures those interests brought him.

A celebration of his life will be held at the family's convenience at a future date.
