Hunter Allen, 19, of Starr, SC passed away on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born November 16, 1998, in Anderson, SC, Hunter was the son of Chad Edward and Melanie Dawn Allen of Starr, SC. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ronnie Jordan and step grandfather, Mike Higginbotham. Hunter had attended Crescent High School and worked as a waiter. He was a member of Passion Church in Anderson. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Ashtyn Allen of Starr, SC; grandparents, Ronnie and Dianne Allen and Clara Higginbotham; uncles, Steve Allen (Katrina), Russell Jordan (Tommi) and Kevin Jordan (Danna) all of Anderson, SC; cousins, Dylan Jordan, Kylee Allen, Bailee Jordan, Carter Jordan, Sydnee Allen, Brady Jordan and Landon Jordan; his god-parents, Brian and Tina Hinson and god-sister, Mattie Hinson The family will receive friends from 5-8 pm Friday, March 9, 2018 at The McDougald Funeral Home. An additional visitation will be held from 10:30 am -11:30 am Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Gethsemane Baptist Temple in Starr. The service will follow at 12:30 pm at the church with Rev.
