Ida Mae Hanna Anderson, SC Ida Mae Jordan Hanna, age 85, of Anderson, passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2014, at NHC of Anderson. Born in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late H.T. Jordan and the late Minnie Tinsley Jordan. She was a graduate of Girls High School and worked for many years at the Singer Plant in Anderson. Ida Mae was a member of Forest Hill Baptist Church. She is survived by her children, Robert Elliott and his wife Cynthia, of Anderson, SC, Ken Elliott and his wife Sheila, of Pendleton, SC and Sandra Burdette and her husband Steve of Belton, SC; brothers, James Carlton Jordan, Larry Hawkins Jordan and William P. Jordan, all of Anderson, SC; sisters, Cleo Roberts, Doris Ethridge and Barbara Wilson, all of Anderson, SC; 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, James Stewart Elliott and her second husband, Donald J. Hanna; and two sisters. Joyce Thomason and Mildred Peace. The Funeral will be held on Sunday, February 16, 2014 at 3:30 p.m. in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Reverend Tom Owen and Pastor Scott Burdette officiating. Interment will follow at New Silver Brook Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, prior to the service on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. Flowers will be accepted.
