INA RUTH ELLIOTT June 9, 1916 - April 22, 2013 ANDERSON, SC Ina Ruth Elliott, age 96, of Anderson, passed away on Monday, April 22, 2013 at the Rainey Hospice House. Born in Anderson, she was the daughter of the late James Henry Adams and the late Mittie Locke Adams. She worked in textiles for many years and was a member of the Assembly Church of God of Anderson. She is survived by her daughters, Mickie Nichols of Cleveland, OH, Joann Simpson of Fort Mill, SC, Jeanette Nix and Margaret Tennant of Anderson, SC and Patsy Emerson of Greenville, NC; two sisters, Sylvene Dillingham and Elzora Adams; 15 grandchildren and many great and great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her spouse, Fate Elliott; a son, James Parnell; six brothers, Carl, Jim, George "Bo", Clyde, Clifford and Claude Adams; a sister, Lillie Shirley The Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at 3:00 PM at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will be at the residence, 110 Phillips Street, and will receive friends on Wednesday, April 24, 2013, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at The McDougald Funeral Home.
