Eva Inez Holloway Allen, 84, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on April 24, 1936 in Travelers Rest, SC to the late Jewell Lester Holloway and Ella Daisy Goldsmith Holloway. Inez retired from Bigelow Industries after 40 years of service. She was a God fearing and very loving Christian lady. She was a faithful member of Jones Chapel where she had served as a missionary leader and a Sunday School teacher. Inez possessed many fine qualities, being educated, a sincere employee, and a faithful church member but loving and caring for her family was her greatest joy. She is survived by her devoted husband of 64 years, Noah Lee Allen; children, Roger Allen (Susan), Ramona Pitts (Dale) and Marcia Clardy (Wayne); grandchildren, Stacey Huskey, Justin Allen (Paula), Jason Allen (DeAnne), Jeremy Pitts (Kim), Noah Clardy and Elijah Clardy; great-grandchildren, Kayla Huskey, Brandon Huskey (Kayla), Kelsy Johnson (Carson), Erin Allen, Ethan McAbee (Kayla), Nathan Allen, Emma Chandler, Madelyn Pitts and Jackson Pitts; great-great grandchildren, Evan Huskey, Americus Huskey, Piper Cole and Jaxon Huskey; and sister, Daisy Crocker (C.J.). In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her grandsons, Steven and Christopher Pitts; sister, Peggy Brown; and brothers, Jack, David, Michael and Marvin Holloway. Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday, May 8, 2020 between the hours of 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm at Jones Chapel, 2443 Jones Chapel Rd., Belton, SC. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2020 at 11:00 am at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Rev. Howard Steen, Rev. Carroll Plemmons and Rev. Keith Crocker officiating. Those attending the graveside are encouraged to bring their own chairs. Social distancing will be observed at both the church and the cemetery. The family will be at their respective homes.
