Inez Stone, age 88, passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2016 Born in Thomaston, GA, on August 17th, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Frank Wilder and the late Opal Pitts Wilder Robinson, and was a sister to Lillie Waters, Frankie Martin and Robert Wilder. Inez retired from BASF after 16 years, then continued on to become a cosmetologist where she proudly owned her own beauty salon. She was a member of Pentecostal Holiness Faith. She is survived by her grandchildren, Stacy Mitchell, Robert E. Ricketts, IV, and Gina Ricketts; great-grandchildren, Zackary Mitchell, Phoebe-Jo Mitchell, McCaleb Mitchell, Justin Rudder, Nicholas Rudder, Chasity Harrison, Alexis Ricketts, Jada Ricketts and Jenna Martin; and a great-great granddaughter, Kailee Hall. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence M. Stone; and a son, Donald E. Stone. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Reverend Mike Harrell officiating. The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Friday, April 29, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Flowers will be accepted or memorials can be made to Hospice of the Upstate at 1835 Rogers Rd., Anderson, SC 29621.
