Iosif N. Kril, age 80, of Anderson, SC, passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at his home. Born October 11, 1940 in Poland, he was the son of the late Nicholi Kril and Katherine Shpak Kril. Iosif and his family moved to the United States in 2001 and began living in Anderson in 2007. He loved working with his hands, especially on cars and tractors. Iosif never met a stranger and enjoyed helping others and mastering the English language. He was a member of Summer of God Slavic Evangelical Church where he delivered his testimony, shared his faith in Jesus, sang in the choir and enjoyed sharing his talents at church. Iosif will be remembered as a man of faith who loved his family dearly. He is survived by his devoted wife of 56 years, Anna Porphirivna Kril; daughter, Nadiya Shkaradyuk; son-in-law, Svyatoslav Shkaradyuk; son, Vladimir I. Kril; daughter-in-law, Rayisa Kril; grandchildren, Ruslan, Vitaliy, Anzhelika, and Zoriana Shkaradyuk, and Vitaliy, Jessica, and Karina Kril; granddaughter-in-law, Alla Shkaradyuk; and great-grandchildren, William and Oliver Shkaradyuk. Mr. Kril's siblings were Evgenie, John, Miron, Olga, Maria, and Anna Kril. An evening service will be held Sunday, July 11, 2021, at 6:00 pm at Summer of God Slavic Evangelical Church. A graveside service will be held Monday, July 12, 2021, at 11:00 am at New Silver Brook Cemetery with Rev. Piotr Nestertsov officiating.
