He retired as a truck driver with Jacobs and was a member of Teamster's Union Local 639. Mr. Richey also served in the United States Marine Corps.Mr. Richey is survived by one son, Allen Richey of Lorton, VA; three daughters, Anna Joy Newton of Fredericksburg, VA, Ina Marie Richey-Davis of Springfield, VA, and Lisa Richey of Anderson, SC; four brothers, Allen, Johnny, and David Richey all of Anderson, SC, and Robert Richey of Steel, WA; one sister, Peggy Davis of Rock Hill, SC; stepfather, James E. Mitchell of Anderson, SC; and four grandchildren.In addition to his parents, Mr. Richey was preceded in death by a sister, Frances King.A memorial service for Mr. Richey will be held at a later date.
