McGraw died on March 14, 2005 in Anderson, South Carolina.Born on June 23, 1903 in Vardaman, Mississippi, she was a daughter of the late Fed B. Parker and the late Laura Jane Rhodes Parker. Mrs. McGraw lived most of her life as a homemaker and a resident of Inverness, Mississippi. Following the death of her husband, she relocated to South Carolina. She was a member of Community Christian Church of Anderson, SC. She is survived by a daughter, Laura Faye Blackston of Anderson, South Carolina and a son, Robert McGraw of Jasper, Georgia and formerly of Inverness, Mississippi. Six grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and eight great great-grandchildren also survive.In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a great-grandchild and a sister, Mary Lou Huffman.A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, March 19, 2006 at Ellzey Cemetery, Vardaman, Mississippi with Jim Woods officiating.
