Irene Barnes Wallis Stoderl, age 95, of Melbourne, FL, and formerly of Anderson, SC, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 8, 2021, at William Childs Hospice House, Palm Bay, FL. Born February 25, 1926 in Douglas, WY, she was the daughter of the late Ross Ellis Barnes and Phoebe Shrader Barnes. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Anderson where she was a part of the ladies Bible study. She is survived by her devoted husband of 34 years, Donald Anthony Stoderl; sons, Richard E. Wallis and Robert A. Wallis; daughters, Bonnie I. Milliken and Matilda L. Schadewaldt; 12 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 17, 2021, from 11:00am-12:00pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the Chapel at 12:30pm with Rev. Steve Hurte officiating. There will be a private burial at M.J. Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery.
