IRMA LOUISE BOWEN June 26, 1932 - June 16, 2013 ANDERSON, SC Irma Louise Bowen, age 80, wife of the late, Ralph H. Bowen, passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2013, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Anderson, she was the daughter of the late Hugh Harrison Owens and Lois McGill Owens. She was employed with Anderson Independent Mail, holding various titles. Irma later became employed with Kulp Woven Velvets, where she retired as plant secretary after many years of service. She is survived by her children, Michael R. Bowen and his wife Sheryl and Cynthia B. Mize and her husband Douglas; two grandchildren, Krystal Bowen and Stephanie Bouknight; two great-grandchildren, Celeste Bouknight, and Alec Bishop; one step-grandson, Scott Day; and two step-great grandchildren, Summer and Brooke Day. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Elizabeth Cann and Eula Mae Atkins. The Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 19, 2013, at 11:00 AM at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Reverend Mark Pollard officiating. The family will be at their respective homes.
