Iva Bryson Cook Shore, 89, of Anderson, SC passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Rainey Hospice House. Born October 2, 1928 in Anderson, SC, she was a daughter of the late William Edward Cook and the late Vivian Pruitt Cook. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Angela Rose Shore; sister, Marguerite Cook Pruitt and grandson, Ryan Scott Evans. Iva was former executive director of Haven of Rest and a member of Iva ARP Church. She attended Anderson College. She is survived by her son, Austin Edward Shore, Jr.; granddaughter, Alison Evans Rainey; great grandchildren, Kayla Rainey Jordan, Savannah Evans and Gage Evans; great-great grandchild, Penelope Jordan. The family will receive friends from 1:30 pm-2:30 pm Sunday, April 8, 2018 at Iva ARP Church. The service will follow at 3:00 pm. Burial will be in Iva City Cemetery.
