Frank Tucker, age 73, husband of Louise Cain Tucker of 1319 Brown Road, died Sunday, March 20, 2011 at the Rainey Hospice House.Born in Anderson, SC, he was a son of the late James Lamar Tucker and Louise Getsinger Tucker. He was a graduate of Dixie High School and served in the United States Army Reserves. He was the owner of Tucker's Upholstery for more than 35 years and also worked for the Anderson Independent-Mail and Cannon's Sporting Goods. He was Mason, a Shriner and a member of Salem Baptist Church and a former member of Rocky River Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of the home; daughters, Christi Tucker Dotson and her husband, David of Nashville, TN and Cheryl Tucker Griffith and her husband William 'Billy' of Anderson, SC; sisters, Caroleen Mattison of Antreville, SC and Barbara Scharling of Landrum, SC; three grandchildren, Jared Lee Griffith, Bradley Ann Dotson and Gus Dotson.In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Charles and James Tucker and sister, Betty Jean Tucker.The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at 3:30 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by Dr. Jerry White and Rev. Steve Payne. Interment will follow in Rocky River Baptist Church Cemetery in Iva, SC.The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm.
