Williams, age 80, husband of Annie Ruth Aldrich Williams of 5 Park Street, Anderson, SC, died Tuesday, December 6, 2005 at his residence.Born in Franklin County, GA, he was a son of the late Early Williams and Octavia Jordan Williams. He was retired from Abney Mills and Anderson County. He was a United States Marine Corps veteran and was a member of the House of Prayer in Anderson.He is survived by his wife of the home, a son, Steve Williams and a daughter, Linda Kinley, both of Anderson, SC; a brother, Harold Williams of Fair Play, SC; sisters, Pauline Simpson of North Augusta, SC and Alma Jean Smith of Walhalla, SC; twelve grandchildren and twenty two great-grandchildren.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sons, Donnie Williams and Terry Williams; a daughter, Barbara Ann Rice; brothers, Carl Williams and Nace Williams; sisters, Lidia Biffel and Maggie Wells; a grandson, Richard Williams and a granddaughter, Angel Rice.The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 9, 2005 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home by the Reverends Arthur Higgins, Jerry Nation, and Terry Chapman.
